Commercial Strip & Re-Sheet, Maidstone

SJS Sheeting Limited was appointed to deliver a complete strip and re-sheet solution for a commercial unit in Aylesford, near Maidstone, providing the client with a fully compliant, high-performance roofing system from start to finish.

The project commenced with the safe removal of all asbestos-containing materials from the existing roof, gutters, and downpipes. The building was fully decontaminated, with all hazardous waste removed and disposed of in strict accordance with current regulations, ensuring complete compliance and giving the client total peace of mind.

Following the strip-out works, we designed, supplied, and installed a new CA Twin Therm built-up roofing system, significantly enhancing the building's thermal efficiency and long-term performance. The rainwater goods were upgraded to meet the required gutter calculations, while new flashings and trims were installed throughout to provide a durable, weatherproof finish.

As part of the refurbishment, several damaged wall sheets were also replaced, improving both the building's appearance and its overall integrity.

By transforming a dilapidated building that had reached the end of its service life, we have delivered a modern, energy-efficient facility that will continue to serve the client for decades to come.
