SJS Sheeting Limited were contracted for the structural steel frame, mezzanine, and roofing and cladding at this site in Burton upon Trent.
Structural steelwork was completed by Midland Structures Limited, which is CE Marked to EXC2; this frame consisted of approximately 100 tonnes of hot-rolled steel and 7 tonnes of cold-rolled steel.
SJS Sheeting Limited supplied and installed the roofing and cladding upon completion of the steel frameworks.
The roof area consisted of 1277 m2 of JORIS IDE composite panel and Rooflights. The roof was loaded, and then work was required to cease for a short period due to inclement wind conditions. Therefore, our team continued with work on the wall area to ensure that productivity continued in the safest way possible.
Actual roof installation time, including loading to final fix, was 5 days.
Wall cladding was comprised of a JORIS IDE composite panel, which was horizontally and vertically laid in contrasting colours. The cover area was 1080 m2, and it was installed in 5 weeks, including some variation works requested by the client.
