SJS Sheeting Ltd was invited to offer a proposal to the tenant of a large-scale industrial unit in Fradley, as they were vacating the building, and contractually required to make good the unit in readiness for its handover back to the building owner.
Our refurbishment works to the 10,000m2 roof returned it to a condition where natural light flooded the unit once again, and the client will have a roof set to service the next tenants for many years to come.
We did not just attend to the roof – the walls equating to approximately 6000m2 required replacements, over-cladding, resprays, and the formation of loading doors.
The building was handed back to the existing tenant, whom were highly impressed with our attention to detail, and overall quality of the project works from inception to completion.
Care had to be taken to ensure new profiles and colours were a match to the existing, which creates its particular challenges as there is weathering of the existing to factor in, along with the availability of now defunct profiles.
